Description

The Bird Of Paradise, or ‘Crane Flower’ plant is known for its stunning flowers with looks like cranes. Crane birds of different colors are mostly found in the tropics along the oceans and seas.

The flowers sit among thick green leaves and look as if cranes are perched in the foliage. They also sit on top of green canes with horizontal blue-grey bracts that are horizontally. At the end of the bracket are orange petals shooting straight up, looking like a bird’s feathery crown.

They typically are grown in South Africa.
